New AI Lab Features
We rebuilt the site (okay, Charlie rebuilt the site), and there's a lot to dig into. Here's what's new and worth a look.
Get yourself set up! There's now a 5-minute orientation page with a first-steps checklist, so you never have to wonder where to begin.
Put the AI Lab an app on your phone. Add it to your home screen and turn on notifications, and your phone will ping you when someone @mentions you or sends a DM, even when the site is closed. Here's the 30-second setup.
On iPhone (use Safari):
Open ailabforaccountants.com in Safari.
Tap the Share icon, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Open the Lab from the new home-screen icon. (This step matters: on iPhone, notifications only work from the installed icon, not the Safari tab.)
Go to your Profile and tap Turn on under notifications. Tap Allow when your phone asks.
On Android (use Chrome):
Open ailabforaccountants.com in Chrome.
Tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app (or Add to Home screen).
Open the Lab from the new icon.
Go to your Profile and tap Turn on under notifications, then Allow.
Connect with other members
Discussions: Ask a question, share a win, or get a tool recommendation in a couple of clicks. Pick the kind of post and the details set themselves up for you.
Share a post to discuss. Paste an X or LinkedIn link and it embeds right inside the thread.
Direct messages: Private 1:1 and small-group chats with the people you meet here.
Member directory: See who's in the Lab and what they work on.
